Subject Matter: The title is 'The Snake'. The poet is Sharon. This poem is a about a snake slithering through the grass.
Purpose- To show that wven though a snake might be scary it is also graceful.
Emotion- In the First stanza the poet dexcribes the snake as scary and like it is about to attack. In the 2nd and 3rd stanza shows that the snake can be graceful at times also.
Techniques- Simile- For eg 'Its sinuous movements like hungery eels'
Rhyme- 1st and 2nd line.

Summary: The poem flowed and the poet achieved the purpose

Chicken Soup For the Preteen Soul

In this book is shows what kids can achieve if they put there mind to it. It also tells you about the horrible things kids have to face, like death or losing someone close to them.

Chicken Soup tells real life storys, so you can relate to them. I really enjoy this book because it is a good but educational book for the Preteen Soul.
